Meet Nicky
Nicky Weinbach was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and started learning music from a very young age. Originally starting off on the saxophone, Nicky transitioned over to singing, piano, and guitar in high school when he developed an interest in showing off his resonant baritone and songwriting skills. Nicky advanced his musicianship at the University of California, Berkeley and, upon graduating, started pursuing music full time.
Nicky has been a vocal teacher and music educator for the past 7 years and has been performing, writing, and producing music, professionally, for the past 16+ years, particularly working on his own indie pop band’s music and his jazz and oldies duo with his twin brother Max (samples below). He also wrote the music for and produced a full-length original musical called ‘Made in China’ in San Francisco that had a very successful month-long run. Nicky has also written songs and scores for a few shorts films. With over 25 years of music theory and vocal education under his belt and 7 years of experience working as a teacher and vocal coach, Nicky would love to help you find your unique voice in your musical journey as a singer and musician.

Nicky’s Approach to Coaching
I’ll tailor lessons to your personal needs and wants as a singer. Whether you’re a novice vocalist trying to impress your friends at karaoke or a high school student looking to audition for the next high school music or a professional musician wanting to brush up on technique, I’d be excited and honored to help you out. Above all else, I place a lot of importance on pinpointing the uniqueness and honesty in each individual voice, and together we’re going to find out what makes you sound like you!
